The students of First year MSc chemistry along with two of the faculty members visited NEST home an orphanage off Mysore road on 16 th July 2016.The visit was one of the programmes which gave a good note to the MSc programme .This visit helped the students to interact with almost everyone in the class which reduced the void that was present between them. As a whole it helped the class to come together. The various responsibilities assigned to people were done perfectly and this led to the smooth running of the entire programme.The happiest part of the programme was the unity of the class.

After reaching the orphanage the engagement of the students with the children was exceptional that there were only smiles around the entire place.The happiness in those children bought a very good feeling in all the students who visited the orphanage. The visit and the interaction with those children made most of the students think how lucky each and every person in the class is. This thinking was due to the comforts which each and everyone got and those comforts which was forbidden to those innocent children.The importance of parents was exactly known during this visit. The various programs arranged like the experiments, games and the cultural programmes made the students interact better with all the children. These programmes were being enjoyed to the core by the children which was evident from their enthusiasm and their involvement in the programme.

 
To conclude the whole visit can be said in a sentence as fun filled and also as one which made us think about our life.I thank the chemistry department for organizing this event.
